Fountains Cottage, Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Fountains Cottage, Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Built in 1749 Fountains cottage originally served as a farmhouse.

Spread over three floors, this spacious stone-built holiday cottage is full of character with its ivy-clad exterior and its exposed beams inside.

Wake up to the gurgling River Skell, situated just opposite the cottage, before exploring nearby Fountains Abbey.

A little further afield, is the spa town of Harrogate or delve into the wilds of the Yorkshire Dales, which are just a 35 minute drive.
