‘Magic’ by Anna-Pugh
Anna Pugh is one of England’s leading folk artists. Born in Kent in 1938, she has been painting her whole life. Her parents were a vet and a gardener, which set the tone for her artistic direction.
Today, Anna lives in a small village, in a small cottage with a large dog. Her paintings always include plants and animals, often houses, and just occasionally people. Her work has proved very popular with American collectors, but the British demand is increasing at a rate that all but outstrips her output.
