The Dowager Duchess of Devonshire in the Blue Drawing Room at Chatsworth.

The Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, who died (2014) aged 94, was the
youngest and last of the celebrated Mitford sisters, and the chatelaine
of Chatsworth, the “Palace of the Peak” in Derbyshire, which from the
1950s onwards she made into both a glorious public spectacle and, really
for the first time, a consummately stylish private home.

*Called the Blue Drawing Room because once the walls were blue silk, now faded,  but still lovely!
